Taimatsu Selection Benisashi Umeshu (Sake Base)
Benisashi Umeshu is a sake base Umesyu which is used fully ripened rare benisashi ume and soaked into super dry Honjozo.
It has a moderate sweetness and refreshing taste. Please enjoy on the rock, with ice cubes or mix with soda water. Benisashi Umeshu is made from “fully ripe Benisasi plums” harvested in Arawa City, Fukui Prefecture.
Unlike sweet plum wine, the sake flavor remains distinct and delicious. This product is made with the hope that people who do not like sake will be able to taste it. Ume plums and sugar are soaked in super dry Honjozo, just as in the traditional plum wine making process. The aroma and sourness of the fully ripened red plums harmonize with super dry honjozo, and the gentle taste is like a first love⁉ Ingredients: Honjozo, plums (from Fukui Prefecture), sugar
